Lincoln County News - July 6, 1944
Smith

The Petersburg community was shocked by the death of little John William

Smith, aged 3 years and six months, who died Thursday, June 22, 1944, at

the Lincoln County Hospital. Funeral services were conducted at the home by

Rev. S. O. McAdoo.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Smith; grandparents,

Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tallman, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Smith; several aunts and

uncles.

Burial at Riverview Cemetery, Fayetteville.
