Taylor

Funeral services for Mr. James Hubbard Taylor, 58, leading druggist, who

died at the Gordon Hospital December 24, after a few days illness, were

conducted at the Methodist Church by Rev. M. K. Harwell, assisted by Eld.

O. E. Coffman, of Lawrenceburg, December 26, at 2:00 p.m.

He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was born and reared at Hobbs

Island, Ala., the son of the late Christopher and Laura Hobbs Taylor. He

was accountant for the Southern Railway Company before moving to Petersburg

about thirty years ago, where he established his drug business.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth McAdams Taylor; one sister, Mrs.

Ben C. Dysart, of Petersburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Burial in Old Orchard Cemetery.
