Whorley

Funeral services for Mrs. Lala Troop Whorley, aged 33 years, wife of

Clifford Whorley, who died Tuesday, were held Wednesday at the Cane Creek

Church of Christ by Eld. Clyde Gleaves.

She was the daughter of Mr. Charlie Troop and Mrs. Margaret Archer Troop.

She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. She was born and reared

in Marshall County, having lived here all her life.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, C. W. Whorley and Thomas Whorley;

her parents; three sisters, Miss Maybelle Troop, Mrs. Bud Brown, of

Petersburg, and Mrs. Hatton Petty, of Lewisburg; one brother, Otis Troop,

of Belfast.

Burial was in Old Orchard Cemetery.
