I, John Harrison do appoint this to be my last will and testament. First, I give my beloved wife all my estate of every kind. At her death, I wish an equal division among my children, taking into consideration what I have paid them I have paid Thomas Fifty dollars and Meddleton one hundred and thirty. A note on William Mosely of fifty dollars I wish given up to him. I wish Ludy Cauthun to be my Executor to this my last will and testament. In witness I hereunto set my hand & seal this the ninth of April 1829 John X Harrison His mark and seal Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us. Test: Ritter Brown Robert R. Allsup Morgan Holbert X his mark State of Tennessee, Lincoln County Court, April 20, 1829. I Brice M. Garner Clerk of said Court do certify that this is the last will and testament of John Harrison deceased, was produced in open Court for probate, whereupon came Robert R. Allsup and Morgan Holbert the subscribing witnesses thereunto and being duly sworn state that they saw and heard the said John Harrison sign, seal publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament and that they believed him to be at the time of sound mind and memory whereupon it was ordered by the Court That this will together with this probate be recorded.
