William Baxter Edmondson was my husband's grandfather.  A "widowmaker" tree 
fell on him, causing his death on 16 January 1911.  A doctor was called, and 
he operated, but Mr. Edmondson didn't survive.   We read the death certificate 
several years ago at the courthouse, but I don't believe we copied it.  
However, we knew the circumstances, being told by my husband's cousin, Bill 
Edmondson, who lives in Sweetwater, TN.
