Cemetery ========================================================================= David Donahue, the creator of this file, declares it to be in the public domain. ========================================================================= CANE CREEK MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY Madison County, Tennessee Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church and cemetery are located about 3« miles south of Jackson. Take Riverside Drive south and turn left at Cane Creek Road. The cemetery is at the end of Cane Creek Road. This probably was the primary cemetery serving the black community in the Bemis area. It is a large cemetery, and except along its southern edge appears to be a full cemetery. There are hundreds of unmarked graves. David Donahue recorded this cemetery over several days in August 2003 based on earlier work by Jonathan K. T. Smith.
