HAYS CHAPEL CEMETERY

This cemetery is located off Hwy 138 N go through the town of Mercer, Madison 
County, TN.  Turn onto Bachelor Road across from the Co-op.  It has a fence 
around it but some of the stones are broken and in a pile.

At the entrance there is a brick marker with Confederate Burial Trench, no 
names no dates.  It appears to be a large area of graves.
