Written: 1878
Recorded: January 1878

 “W. H. Brown, Deed to Hiram Anthony, registered January 1878. For and in 

consideration of $1160 to me in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby 

acknowledged, I hereby bargain, sell, and convey unto Hiram Anthony of the city 

of Jackson, Tennessee, the following described lot:”



	“Beginning on William Burnell’s SE corner in Lafayette Street, runs 

thence east 66 ˝ feet to a lot purchase by J. E. Glass of the Long estate, 

thence north about 118 feet to Mrs. Walsh’s SE corner, thence west to Burnell’s 

line, 66 ˝ feet, thence to the beginning, about 118 feet, being the same lot 

conveyed to me this day by ?K. S?. Hightower. This January 18th, 1878.”
