Krapp & wife Filed April 20, 1894 For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars paid and to be paid as follows, Twenty five Dollars in cash which is hereby acknowledged and Twenty five Dollars the 4th day of Feby 1894, Twenty five Dollars the 4th day of March 1894, Twenty five Dollars the 4th day of April 1894, Twenty five Dollars the 4th day of May 1894 and Twenty five Dollars the 4th day of June 1894. For all of which Defined payments notes have this day been executed, we the undersigned heirs & husbands of heirs of Wm Russell deceased have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto L. R. Krapp and wife M. K. Krap and their heirs forever. The following described lot of land in the City of Jackson in Madison County State of Tennessee to wit: A certain lot designated by W. F. Alexander & others Commissioners as lot no 2 in the division of lands in the cause of Jessie Russell et al versus Kate Russell et al in the County Court of Madison County Tennessee which was set apart to the heirs of William Russell as tenants in common and more particularly described as follows. Beginning on Church Street at the South east corner of the Allen lot running thence South 60 feet to the Krop line thence West 20 feet, thence North 30 feet, thence west with Krop's line 80 feet to the South east corner of lot no 1 in the aforesaid division, thence North with the line of said lot no (1) 30 feet Thence east 100 feet to the beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said L. R. Krap and M. K. Krap and their heirs and assigns forever. We covenant with the said L. R. Krap and M. K. Krap that we are lawfully seized of said land and have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered. We do further covenant and bind ourselves and our heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the said lot of land to the said L. R. Krap and M. K. Krap their heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever, a reserved lein is hereby retained upon said lot of land to secure the payment of the deferred purchase money. And Nannie Florence Dickson the within named bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within instrument for the purpose therein contained. And Nannie Florence Dickson, wife of the said Jno. D. Dickson, having appeared before me privately and apart from her husband the said Nannie Florence Dickson acknowledged the execution of the said deed to have been done by her freely voluntarily and understandingly without compulsion or restraint from her said husband and the purpose therein expressed. Ives wife of the said F. W. Ives having appeared before me privately and apart from her husband the said Katie R. Ives acknowledged the execution of the deed to have been done by her freely voluntarily and understandingly, without compulsion or constraints from her said husband and for the purposes therein expressed witness my hand and seal of Office this 22nd day of January 1894. Williams, acknowledged the execution of the said Deed to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly without compulsion or constraint from her said husband and for the purposes therein expressed.
