Russell it is witnessed that the said parties above named have this day entered into copartnership for the purpose of carrying on the house painting business in the town of Jackson the said several partners giving their time and labor to said business. It is agreed that the said Jesse Russell Sr. shall put into said firm his house and lot in the town of Jackson to be conveyed by proper deed of conveyance, his household furniture of every kind and his Horse & Buggy. That the Jesse Russell Jr. and John R. Russell shall live with said Jesse Sr. and all expenses of the family of said Jesse Sr. the necessary private expenses of said Jesse Jr. and John R. Russell for their ordinary maintenance shall be counted a part of the expenses of the firm & are to paid out of the proceeds of the same. It is further agreed that each of said parties shall have power and authority to make any contracts for work and materials & also for what may be necessary for the support of the family, but that none of said parties shall have authority to bind the firm by any trade or contract outside of the ordinary business of the firm except as specified above without the express assent of the other parties hereto and it is further agreed that the proceeds of said partnership after paying all expenses shall be equally divided between said parties to the agreement.
