Water Valley, 6 new cases and 3 deaths. Paris, no new cases or deaths. Milan, no new cases or deaths. Canton, 3 new cases, 1 death. Brownsville, Oct. 24 - This warm day has developed six new cases. We thought the trouble was over. The deaths in last twenty four hours, Ben Edwards and Doc Sherman. Wm. Russell is very ill. Dr. Ware and Henry Wood are improving. Absent refugees must not come home till invited. - S. M. PROVENCE. SUMMARY Oct. 25th. Milan, 1 new case and a death expected to-night. Canton, 1 new case and 4 deaths. Water Valley, no new cases, and no deaths. Holly Springs, 5 new cases and 3 deaths. Grand Junction, no new cases and no deaths. Grenada, no new cases, 2 deaths. Mason, Oct. 25 -One death to-day, Julius Lane, col., twenty cases on hand, some in critical condition. Glad to say Mrs. O'Conner is doing well, and R. B. White out of danger. Weather warm and cloudy, no new cases. - ED. COLEMAN. Pres. Relief Board Milan, Oct. 25. - Mr. Sam Wheeler was stricken to-day, and is very bad to-night. No deaths in past few days. Number of cases to date 12, number of deaths 7, all the sick are doing well. -J. P. C. Grand Junction, Oct. 25. - Fever abating, no new cases in the last 48 hours. One death yesterday, colored man, Bob Binford. Frost very heavy for six nights. - W. W. W. Brownsville, Oct. 25, --The outlook is more hopeful, notwithstanding the warm weather. Only one new case reported. E. C. Drennan died last night. Wm. C. Russell, of Memphis is sinking rapidly. Dr. Ware is improving. We expect rain to night, and then the end. -- S. M. PROVENCE. Holly Springs, 5 new cases, 3 deaths. Water Valley, no new cases, 3 deaths. Milan, Oct. 26. - No deaths since last report. One new case, Mr. Samuel Wheeler was taken yesterday, but is doing very well to-night. Mrs. Duffy and Dr. Harry are resting very well, and bid fair to recover. Mrs. Guion and daughter will be up in a few days, Fugua and Gammons convalescent, and W. H. Bigham, who is down at his father's, we are glad to say, is past all danger. Mrs. Cora Shepard, a refugee, was taken last Monday at the residence of Capt. Hale, three miles in the country, and now lies in a critical condition. Weather has been very warm for past few days, but is turning cool fast to-night. -J. P. CHAMBERS BROWNSVILLE, Oct. 28. - Fever here has ended. Physicians have declared it safe for refugees to return providing they fumigate their houses well. A heavy frost and freeze last night. Numerous braves returning and business reviving briskly. -W. W. MILAN, Oct. 29. - No new cases, Mrs. Duffy died last night. Mrs. Shepard, refugee, reported dying. All the rest of the sick are doing well. The deaths to date are ten, cases seventeen.
