Joseph M. Russell, age 66, died early Saturday morning at the residence, 7232
Second Ave., N. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday from Luquire's
Chapel, interment in Forest Hill Cemetery, Luquire in charge.  Survived by widow,
Mrs. Willie A. Russell one daughter, Mrs. Russell Rigny; five sons, Layton M.,
William M., both of Birmingham; C. C., of Philadelphia; C. E. of Jacksonville,
Fla.; R. R. Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Miss Patsy Russell; one brother Y. M.
Russell, both of Jackson, Tenn.  The Rev. Allen Moore will officiate, assisted by
Dr. Kimbrough.  Pallbearers: Houston Burdeshaw, J. E. Carson, Earnest Aiken,
Walter Calhoun, Jerome Phillips, Charles L. Bailey.
