Miss Russell Dies; Rites to be Thursday

Miss Martha Ann (Miss Patsy) Russell, 78, died at 12:30 o'clock this afternoon at
the home of her niece, Mrs. A. T. Little, 342 Division.  She had been sick only a
short time.

She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Sarah Teague Russell, early settlers of
Madison County.  She was a member of the Hays Ave. Methodist Church.

Survivors include a number of nephews and nieces.

The body will be at Griffin Funeral Home where services will be held at 3 p. m.
Thursday.  The Rev. Dan Overall will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverside.

The following pallbearers are asked to meet at Griffin Funeral Home at 2:45
o'clock; B. C. Blackmon, William Blackmon, Hugh Blackmon, B. M. Elam, W. A. Thomas,
Hugh Harvey.
