Yancey Russell Will Be Buried At Riverside Member of Pioneer Jackson Family Died Last Night At His Home Yancey M. Russell, 58, member of a pioneer Jackson family, passed away Tuesday night at 10:05 o'clock at his home, 132 Stoddert Street, following an illness of more than two years. For a number of years prior to the failure of his health he was connected with the Mobile and Ohio Railroad. Mr. Russell was born and reared in Jackson, the son of the late Jesse and Sarah Teague Russell, and was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by a sister, Miss Patsy Russell of this city. The funeral will be held at the chapel of the Lanier Funeral Home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock by the Rev. R. P. Duckworth, pastor of the Hays Avenue Methodist Church and the interment will follow in the Russell family lot in Riverside cemetery. The following pallbearers are requested to meet at the Lanier Funeral Home tomorrow morning at 9:45 o'clock; B. C. Blackmon, T. R. Lasley, E. E. McKinnie, Artie Wilson, Harry McKinnie and Hugh Harvey.
