He moved after the Revolution to Knox County, Tennessee, then to Bledsoe County and then to Marion County, where he died November 23, 1839. He married Mary ______ in March, 1790. She applied for pension in Marion County, March 5, 1844, when she was 77 years of age and was still living in 1851. The children of John and Mary Jones were Thomas, born 1790; Milberry, born 1792; Benjamin, born 1794; (undecipherable) born 1796; Sally born 1798; William born. 1810; and Betsey, born November 25, 18__.
