He moved to Loudon County, Va., before the Revolution and enlisted in Virginia troops while living in that County. After the Revolution he moved back to Maryland and from thence to Sullivan County, Tenn. then to Pulaski County, Ky., and thence to Marion County. He died in DeKalb County, Ala. July 1, 1843. His widow, Elizabeth Troxal, applied for widow's pension while living in Winchester, Tenn.
