THE WILL AND ESTATE RECORD OF DAVID GLENN WF ELIZABETH M.  DIED 1843 MARSHALL 
COUNTY TN
State of Tennexssee marshall county July 18th, 1843, Know all men by these 
presents that I David Glenn, of the state and county aforesaid "Being in the 
enjoyment of my right mind do hereby make this my last will and testament In the 
first place My Will and desire is that all my just debts be paid and in the 
second place my will and desire is that my beloved wife Elizabeth M. have 
management or control of all my effects or property during her Temporal life or 
widowhood and it is further my will and desire that at the death or end of the 
widowhood of my beloved wife that all my property or effects that  may Land be 
left be equally divided  amongst  all my children  and further my will and 
desire is that my beloved wife be privileged to point out such parts of my land 
in this or the county of White as may be necessary to have sold in order to 
satisfy all just claims that may be brought against me or my estate And further 
my will and desire is that my brother William Glenn and Samuel Ramsey be and I 
do hereby authorize the said Glenn and Ramsey to sell such portions of my land 
as may be nexessary and I hereby authorize the same Glenn and Ramsey to transact 
all my business relative to the estate of my father, Robert B. Glenn, dec of the 
county of White and further my will is that my beloved wife Elizabeth M. and 
Samuel Ramsey be appointed my lawful executors  Given from under my hand and 
seal in the year of our Lord and on the 13th July 1843.

State of Tennessee Marshall County County Clerk  April term 1844
  I Martha Oakley Clerk of the County Court of said County certify that the 
within and foregoing last will and testament of David Glenn dec. was duly proven 
here in open court by the oath of Wm B Harden and James F.Meitt?
as the same appears of Record in my office
    Witness my hand  at office this
   1st day of April 1844
    Martin W Oakley Clerk of Said Court.

Additional Comments:
This is proof that this David is the son of Robert B. Glenn who is deceased by 
this time and that his father died in White Co TN.
