I Richard Sandifer do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at anytime made. First I drect that my funeral expences and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or that may first come into the hands of my Executors. And if there should not be a sufficiency of money left on hand for the payment of said expences and debts I direct that such surplus property as my wife Lucy Sandifer may think property to spear from the use of the family be sold in order to rraise money for said purpose, Secondly I give and bequeath to my loving wife Lucy Sandifer all the rest of my property both real and personal of every caracter and description that now rightfully belongs to me all of which is to be for her support and benefit and under her management and control for said purpose and for the raising tuition of my loving little children during the natural liffe or widowhood of my sd wife Lucy, After the death of my said wife or on her inter marriage with any other man I direct that all my said property both real and personal with all its increase be eaqually divided between my three children Lucy Ann E. Parker C. and Virginia A. Sandifer. And I direct that Lucy Ann E. shall have in her portion in sd. Division my negro girl Miriah at a fair valuation at said time. My other negro girl Emily being of a turbulent disposition I hereby provide that if she should become ungovernable my said wife Shall have power to sell her and put the money to intrest for the benefit of her and my children or purchase a negro boy with the same which negro shall occupy the same place in this will as Emily. and Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Lucy Sandifer and John McAdams my Executors.
