I have this 16 day of Nov. 1854 settled with William A. Alexander, Guardian for
Andrew J. Francis K. & John S. Murphey, Minor heirs of John S. Murphey Decd.
which is in the word and figures folowing that is to say.

Received Columbia November 16th 1854 of William A. Alexander
Guardian for Andrew J. Francis K. & John S. Murphey minors and legatees
of Charles Murphey Deceased the Sum of One Hundred and fifty four dollars
& 45 cents, being in full for the Estate of said Minors in his hands.  I being the
Guardian for said Minors in the County of Smith.  See Decree of County Court,
Decr Tenn 1854.  Confirming this proceedings.
