Maury County, TN Deed Book M, page 458:
Written: March 17, 1828
Recorded: July 23, 1828

 “Morgan Fitzpatrick conveyed by PHILIP ANTHONY, registered July 23rd, 1828. 

This indenture made the 17th day March 1828 between PHILIP ANTHONY and Morgan 

Fitzpatrick. Witnesseth the said PHILIP ANTHONY, for and in consideration of 

$800 dollars…on Globe Creek beginning at a white oak the SE corner of the 

original 200 acre tract that the said PHILIP ANTHONY bought of John Childress 

running thence west 88 poles to the creek thence down the creek with the 

various meanderings thereof to a lark ash, the same being HIRAM ANTHONY’s 

beginning corner, thence north 79 degrees west 62 poles to a rock in the lane, 

thence north 4 degrees west 78 poles and 9 links to a rock, thence north 83 

degrees east 51 poles to a rock, thence south 136 poles to the beginning, 

containing 72 acres.” [Morgan Fizpatrick was the father of HIRAM ANTHONY's 

wife, Lois Fitzpatrick.]
