Fitzgerald Deed To land in 19th Dist. $150.00 Executed by R. A. Fitzgerald Wife July 17th 1885 Titled July 18th 1885 at 10 3/4 Oclockpaid bargained Sold and conveyed to John R. A. Fitzgerald and wife Ida Fitzgerald & have this day and for the sum of One hundred and fifty dollars to us in hand A.M. and Registered Same Day Know all men by these presence that we P. Fitzgerald all of the State of Tennessee and county of Maury all of our right title and interest in and to a Sertain tract of land and by these presence do bargain Sell our quit-claim all of our right title to our interest in and to Said land. Said land is known and described as follows. Situated in the State of Tennessee and county of Maury and in the 19th civil District of said county and on the waters of Carters Creek and known as the Pleasant Fitzgerald tract and is my undivided interest in twenty acres of land Situated in the South west corner of the tract of land owned by our Grand father Pleasant Fitzgerald decd also seven acres of Hill land belonging to sd tract & situated in the State & County aforesaid, sd tract of land is bounded on the North by the land of Garrett Fitzgerald, South by the land of Henry Gray, East by the land of Peter Mayberry, West by the Land of J. S. Hastings, supposed to be 27 acres in all be the same more or less Quit Claim & release all our right & title in said land to the said John P. Fitzgerald & warrant & defend the right & title of sd land against the lawful claims of all & every person whatsoever. This July the 17th 1885. R. A. Fitzgerald and his wife Mrs. Ida Fitzgerald the bargainors with whom I am personally acquainted & who acknowledged that they executed the above instrument for the purposes therein expressed And Mrs. Ida Fitzgerald having personally appeared before me privately & apart from her husband, the sd Mrs Ida Fitzgerald acknowledged the execution of the sd Instrument to have been done by her fully voluntarily & understandingly without compulsion constraint from her sd husband & for the purposes herein expressed.
