Fitzgerald's Deed to 15 acres in 19th C. District. Consideration $50.00 Executed by Jan. 5th, 1904 at 9:00 O'clock A.M. and Reg. Jan. 6th, 1904. For and in Consideration of the sum of fifty dollars cash paid to G. M. and D. O. Priest for which we hereby acknowledge the receipt we J. P. Fitzgerald and wife Mary of Maury County Tennessee have this day bargained, sold and by these presents do hereby transfer and convey unto J. M. Fitzgerald of Maury County, Tenn. a certain parcel or tract of land situated on the waters of Leipers Creek in the 19th Civil District of Maury Co. Tenn. bounded as follows, on the North by Thomason East by Violet Campbell, South and West by McKnight containing by estimation ( 15 ) fifteen acres more or less. To have and hold the same we covenant with the said J. M. Fitzgerald that we lawfully possess said land and have a good right to convey the same and that the same is not encumbered. We further bind ourselves our heirs or assigns to forever warrant and defend the title of said land to the said J. M. Fitzgerald his heirs or assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever in testimony whereunto we have this day affixed our hands and seald. Nov. 15, 1903. J. P. Fitzgerald and Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald the bargainors, with whom I am acquainted, and who acknowledge that they executed the above instrument for the purposes therein expressed. And Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald wife of the said J. P. Fitzgerald having personally appeared before me privately and apart from her husband, the said J. P. Fitzgerald acknowledged the execution of the said Instrument to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint, from her husband, and for the purposes therein expressed.
