Consideration of $100.00. Executed by J. P. Fitzgerald Dated Feby 2nd.1893 Filed Feby 2, 1903 at 2:10 P.M. O'clock Registered Feby 4, 1903. For and in consideration of the sum of $100.00 paid in hand the receipt of which is hereby ack-nowledged. I J. P. Fitzgerald of Maury County Tenn. Have this day bargained sold and by these presents do hereby transfer and convey unto Peter Maberry my interest in and to a certain parcel or tract of land situated on the warers of Snow and Leipers Creek in the 19th Civil District of Maury County, Tenn. And bounded as follows: On the South by Alexander now Goles, East by Campbell, West by Alexander, now McKnight,, Containing 35 Acres more or less. The same being the North part of a tract Thomas Roundtree deeded to Pleasant Fitzgerald in 1835 as will be found recorded in book "T" page 417 in the R. O. M. C. Tennessee. To have and to hold the same, we covenant with said Mayberry that we lawfully possess said land and have a good to convey the same and the same is not encumbered. We further bind our heirs or assigns to forever warrant and defend the title of said land against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever, in testimony whereunto we have this day affixed our hand and seals.
