         TO ALL WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETINGS:

    KNOW YE, that by virtue of part of warrant
No. 2212  dated the 30th day of November 1784 issued 
to Alexander Johnston by John Armstrong, entry
officer of Claims for the North Carolina western lands
and entered on the 9th day of March 1810 by No.   
2232

THERE IS GRANTED BY THE SAID STATE OF TENNESSEE UNTO John Hall  assigner
of the said Alexander Johnson.

A CERTAIN TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, CONTAINING fifty acres lying in Maury 
County in the Second District on the South Side
of Duck River and on the head drains? of Cedar 
Creek about three fourths of a mile nearly East
of the spring where said Hall now lives.  Be- 
ginning at an elm markrd   I H   thence East 
Sixty six and six tenths poles to two small elms   
thence South one hundred and twenty poles
to two small hack? berries, thence West Sixty   
six and six tenths poles to a white oak, thence 
North one hundred and twenty poles to the Be- 
ginning. Surveyed the 12th of May 1810 by

WITH THE HEREDITAMENTS AND APPURTENANCES. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAID TRACT 
OR PARCEL OF LAND, WITH IT  APPURTENANCES TO  THE SAID       John Hall
                    AND his HEIRS FOREVER. IN WITNESS WHEREOF,  Willie Blount      
GOVERNOR OF THE STATE TENNESSEE, HATH HEREUNTO SET HIS HAND, AND CAUSED THE 
GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE AFFIXED, AT  Nashville, ON the  29th  DAY OF 
June IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND fourteen  AND OF
