                         To all whom these presents shall come, Greetings:

    KNOW YE, That  by virtue of part of certificate No. 2007 dated
 the 21th day of December 1824 issued by the Register  
of West Tennessee William Searcy for 200 acres 
and entered on the 20th day September 1815 by
No.  8301?    ------

There is granted by the said state of Tennessee unto  Henry Hall assignee
of  the said William Searcy------

A certain tract parcel of land containing  Six? acres by survey bearing 
date  the 1st  day of February 1815? lying in the Second  District 
in Maury County on the waters of Cedar Creek
a South branch? of Duck River, and bounded s follows 
to wit,  Beginning at the South West corner of a
fifty acre survey in the name of  Henry? Rutherford at
a Hickory; thence North with same survey twenty eight poles
to a stake in the South boundary of Mitchells survey,
thence West with said survey thirty eight poles to a 
White ash in said line; thence South twenty eight 
poles to a Hickory and black Oak; thence East thirty
eight poles to the Beginning --------






With the hereditaments and appurtenances --- to have and to hold thesaid tract 
or  parcel of land, with it appurtenances, to  the said   Henry Hall

and his heirs forever. --- In witness whereof  Joseph McMinn?  Governor 
of the state Tennessee, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the great seal 
of the state affixed, at Murfreesboro, on the 9th day of     
September in the year of our Lord  one thousand eight hundred  and     
nineteen and of the Independence of the United States, the forty fourth
