Entry? Guiser? of Maury County pursuant to an act of the General Assembly of said state passed on the 2nd day of Nov 1837 and and entered on the 11th day of April 1938 by No. 88 there is granted by the said State of Tennessee, unto Thomas K. Hall A certain tract parcel of Land containing three hundred and eighty eight acres and 20 poles by survey, bearing date the 11th day of April 18 28 lying in said county, in range 1 and section 2 in the 8th district and the head waters of Little Bighy? Creek Big Creek and bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at a sassafras and oak pointer the S.W. corner of Thomas Hietts Entry No. 89 and in John Holmes’ E B running thence East with Neck? passing his and Mr. Weatherfords corner at 21 poles and with Weatherford in all 155 7/10 poles to a stake from which a 81½ degree E at 8 feet a Hickory and S 49 degrees W at twenty four feet a small sour oak Hietts NW corner and with his W B South 152 poles to his S W corner a stake from which N 59 degrees W at 6 ½ links? - dogwood and N 38 ½ degrees E at 26 links? is a double dogwood pointer thence East with Hietts S B passing his corner at 56.1 p. and with Richard Fosters line in all 197 4/10 poles to a stake and black oak with a hickory, white oak and chestnut pointers Fosters corner thence South with Fosters W B crossing the Gilentes? At 64 p. & Foster S.W. corner at 69 p. north John Hishmans? line in all 121 ½ p. to a stake with pointers thence West 92 4/10 poles to a stake with black gum, white oak and black oak pointers thence South 44 poles to a white oak with a hickory, dogwood, white oak and black oak pointers thence West 150 poles to a stake with pointers thence- North with John Homes line 166 poles to a black oak South pointers thence with Homes? Line 166 poles to a black oak with pointers thence North 67 ½ poles to a beech and Hickory. Thence East 34 poles to an elm in the head? of a willow with pointers thence North 84?
