Perry, Deed for 220 acres executed by William Kennamore July 17th 1852 Registered Dec 1st 1852 This indenture made and entered into this seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two, between William Kennamore of the county of Maury and state of Tennessee of the one part, and Robert T. Perry of the same county and state of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of three thousand dollars ($3000) to him the said William Kennamore in hand paid by the said R T Perry the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said William Kennamore hath this day bargained sold and conveyed, and by those presents doth bargain sell and convey unto the said R T Perry a certain tract or parcel of land situated and lying in the state of Tennessee and county of Maury seventh Civil District on the headwaters of Little Bigby creek, and bounded as follows, viz Beginning at a Beech at Fanny Smith's southwest corner and the north east corner of William S. Gooch's original tract running thence south 3 ºwest with Miles P. Murphy's east boundary one hundred and twelve poles, to a set rock Murphy's S E corner a set rock between two white walnuts marked as corners-thence north 8º (?) west with Murphy's line forty nine and five-tenth poles to a set rock Murphy's corner on the west side of a road-Thence south 1 3/10º east with Murphy passing his extreme S E corner forty five poles to a hickory on the ridge Wm G McCafferty's corner with hickory & sugartree pointers-Thence east five and seven-tenth poles to a set rock McCafferty's corner-Thence south with McCafferty's fifty and seven tenth poles to a set rock originally where a sugar tree stood being the S W corner of William Kennamore's 2/3(?) acre ground in Sandford's north boundary-Thence south 88 3/4 º east one hundred and seventeen and five tenth poles, with McCafferty's & Dugger Sandford's north boundary to set rock Wm McConnells corner with ash of two Beech pointers-Thence north 1/2 º east with McConnell's ninety four and seven tenth poles to his McConnell corner, a dogwood with black gum pointer-Thence south 87 3/4 º east fifty one & one tenth pole to a dogwood with dogwood pointers McConnell's corner-thence north with McConnell's line eleven and five tenth poles to a set rock with Beech pointer thence north 76 º east with his line sixty poles to a pin oak his McConnell's corner, thence north 85º east with his line fourteen poles to a set rock -thence north 88 º east with his line crossing the creek at 19 1/2 poles in all twenty two poles to a set rock, the south west corner of the church lot-thence north 10º east nine & three tenth poles to a sycamore in the E. bank of the creek-Thence south 61 º east eight poles to a set rock-thence south five poles to a set rock in McConnell's line-Thence north 88 º east twelve & seven tenth poles to a set rock McConnell's corner between a poplar stump & Beech tree-thence north 4 º east forty five poles to a stake between a beech tree & a large white oak stump-Beech pointers-Thence north thirty five & eight tenth poles to a stake in McKnight's south boundary, McConnell's NW corner from which N 4 1/2 º east fifty links is a beech pointer-thence north 89 º west one hundred ninety poles to a stake-thence south 1 º west five poles to a stake thence north 89º west sixteen poles to a stake - thence north 1 º east five poles to a stake thence north 89 º west thirty five & eight tenth poles to the beginning-containing two hundred and twenty acres & 111 poles (?) more or less-to have and to hold the above described land and bargained premises with all the apurtenances(sic) thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining-to the said Robert T. Perry the only proper use & ___ of him, the said R T Perry his heirs and assigns forever and the said William Kennamore his heirs executors and administrators shall and will at all times warrant and forever defend the above described land and bargained premises to the sd R T Perry his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of all and any person or persons whatever whereby the same be affected or incur and contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents-in witness whereof the said William Kennamore hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the date above written. Nichols er al Trustees Deed executed by Wm Kinemore(sic) 1852 Registered Nov. 19th 1852 This Indenture made the in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between William Kinemore(sic) of the county of Maury of the one part and Levi A. Nichols, Thomas B Dugger and M P Murphy of the county aforesaid trustees for the meeting house of the Christian Church called Bethel of the other part-Witnesseth that the said William Kinemore(sic) for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars to him in hand well and truly said the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said L.A. Nichols, Thomas B Dugger and M P Murphy trustees for said house and their successors forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the county aforesaid on the waters of Little Bigby creek and adjoining the land of William McConnell on the south and Wm Kinemore on the west, north and east, Beginning at a rock the south west corner in McConnell's line thence north 1ºeast nine and three tenth poles to a syckamore(sic) thence south 61 º east eight poles to a set rock thence south five poles to a set rock in McConnell's line thence south eighty seven and a half degrees west eight poles to the beginning. Containing fifty poles more or less-with all and singular the hereditaments and appertainances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Kinemore of in and to the said lands and premises and every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the said land and premises above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with with (sic) the appertainances (sic) unto the said Levi A Nichols, Thomas B Dugger and M P Murphy trustees and their successors to the only proper use and behoof (sic) said Christian church forever, and the said Kinemore for himself and his heirs the said lands and premises and every part and parcel against himself and his heirs and all every other person whatever will want and forever deffend (sic) unto the said trustees and their sucksessors(sic) in witness whereof the said William Kinemore has hereunto set his hand and seal this the date above written- Signed sealed and delivered William Kenamore (seal) In the present of James Gibson G C Kenamore Thomas T. Gooch William Kennemore Deed Executed Edward H Chaffine Recorded January 4th 1836 This indenture made and entered into this second day of January one thousand eight hundred and thirty six (1836) between Edward H Chaffine of the county of Maury in the state of Tennesse of one part and William Kennemore of the state of Tennessee and county of Maury of the other part Witnesseth that the said Edward H Chaffine for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and thirty nine dollars ($639) to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey unto the said William Kennemore a certain tract or parcel of land situate (sic) and lying and being in the state of Tennessee and county aforesaid on the waters of Little Bigby creek and bounded as follows: That is is on the east by the lands of E W Dall & ___ on the south by McConnell & vacant land on the west by Gooch on north by Burton & Smith supposed to contain seventy four to eighty four acres, it being the same tract of land purchased by said Chaffine from the heirs of Benjamin Brooks Decd. And by them deeded to sd Chaffin. To have and hold the above described tract or parcel of land and bargained premises with all the appurtances (sic)thereunto belonging to the said William Kennemore the only proper use and behoof(sic) of him the said William Kennemore his heirs and assigns forever and the said Edward H. Chaffin doth hereby promise covenant and agree to and with the said William Kennemore his heirs and assigns that the said Edward H Chaffin his heirs executors and administrators shall and will at all times warrant and forever defend the above described land and the premises to the said William Kennemore his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of all and any person or persons whatever whereby the same may be ___ or in ___ contrary to the true inten (sic) and meaning (?) of these presents. In witness whereof the said Edward H Chaffin hath this day set his hand and affixed his seal the day and date above written signed sealed and delivered in presents(sic) of Test Edw H Chaffin (seal) Edw Shugg Ricd C Whiteside State of Tennessee Personally appeared before me George M Martin Maury County clerk of the circuit court for Maury County the bargainor Edward H Chaffin with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged that he executed the written deed upon the day ___ date for the purposes therein contained witness my hand at office this 2nd Janry 1836 George M Martin atty By ___ S Alderson atty William Kennemore Deed 62 acres executed by E W Dale, recorded January 5th 1836 This indenture made on the 1st of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & thirty five (1835) between Edward W Dale of the state of Tennessee and county of Maury of the one part and William Kennemore of said state & county of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred twenty five ($425) dollars in hand paid to the said E W Dale hath bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey unto the said William Kennemore a certain tract or parcel of land situated and lying in the state of Tennessee & county of Maury Eight District in the first range & third section and bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at two paw paws the north east corner of beginning Benjamin Brooks one hundred & sixty acres tract on the south boundary line of Burton & Smiths tract thence south with the line of Benjamin Brooks one hundred & two poles & six links to a stake in said line two dogwood and a black pointer. Thence north 76 º east fifty four poles to a stake-thence north __º east forty three (?) poles eighteen poles to a stake. Thence north 86 º east forty three poles to a poplar & B oak. Thence north eighty poles to Smiths south boundary to a B oak. Thence west the same to the beginning containing sixty two acres, one quarter & 26 poles be the same more or less. To have and to hold the above described land and bargained premises with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said William Kennemore the only proper use and behoof (sic) of him the said William Kennemore his heirs & assigns forever and the said E W Dale doth hereby promise covenant and agree to and with said William Kennemore his heirs and assigns that the said E W Dale his heirs executors and administrators shall & will at all times warrant and forever defend the above described land & promises to the said William Kennemore his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatever____ the same be affected or incumbered (sic) contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents.
