ADMINISTRATOR'S NOTICE--All persons having claims against the 
estate of JOHN SHEEGOG,dec'd,must present them within the time 
prescribed by law,or they will be barred.April 22. JOHN W.FLEMING,
Adm'r.

NOTICE--Taken up by WILLIAM J.CRAIG,living in Civil District No.7,
Lewis County,one bay mare.April 1. G.G.CARTER, Ranger Lewis County.

ESTRAY--Maury County.Taken up by THOMAS A.LEFTWICH,in District No.
21,one bay colt.Aprill 22.MILES COOK, R.M.C.

DROWNED--A son of JOSEPH DUKE,about ten years of age,while fishing 
at DAVIS' Mill near this place,on Saturday inst.,fell into the 
river just below the dam and was drowned.His body was not found 
till the next day.A brother of this little boy was drowned near 
the same place about two years ago.
