First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any monies that I may dispossess of or may first come into the hands of my executor. Secondly, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Hannah Jones the tract of land in which I now live, together with all the ---? therein to belonging also two choice horses out of my stock, three choice milk cows and calves, twenty choice stock hogs, all of my sheep and fowls of every description. Any work --? and waggon, my --? machine, as much of my household and kitchen furniture as she pleases to keep and as many of my farming tools as she may need to be determined any three disinterested persons to be chosen by her and my executors conjointly. also a sufficiency of corn, wheat and provisions of every kind for the support of herself, family and stock for one year to be --? off by the three persons to be chosen as aforenamed also to her during her natural life and at her death to any as named in the following. To my son Elisha Jones, I have heretofore given property and affects to the amount of Ninety One Dollars. To my daughter Mary Stone I have heretofore given property and effects to the amount of one hundred and seventy seven dollars. To my daughter Elizabeth Ann Elliott I have heretofore given property and effects to the amount of two hundred and --? dollars. To my daughter Elanor Jane Caldwell I have heretofore given property and effects two hundred and fifteen dollars and I more give and bequeath her one dollar more which is all I desire her ever to have out of my estate. To my daughter Sarah Lucretia Jones I have heretofore given property and effects to the anout of twenty six dollars. To my daughter Nancy Matthews Jones I have heretofore given property and effects to the amount of twenty six dollars. Thirdly all my other property of every description not disposed of in the above bequeath including a tact of land adjoining Stephen Smith and David L. Whitaker containing Sixty three acres I desire be sold at public sale by my executors to the highest bidder on a credit of twelve months and the proceeds arising from said sale together with what money may belong to my estate after paying my debts when collected shall be equally divided share and share alike between my wife Hannah Jones, my son Elisha Jones, my daughters Mary Stone, Elizabeth Ann Elliott, Sarah Lucretia Jones, Nancy M. Jones and my two sons Rufus A. Jones and James W. Jones, so that each may be made equal taking into account the amounts severally charged to my children as heretofore given to them. I also desire that my daughter Eleanor Jane Caldwells share shall be equal to the shares of each of my other children and I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Hannah Jones as a guardian for her to receive her distributed share from the hands of my executors and retain it for use of my daughter without being bound to give any security to Court --? . Fourthly At the death of my wife Hannah Jones I desire that my tract of land be sold by my executors to the highest bidder on a credit of one or two years and all the balance of property that she may die possessing I desire to be sold on a credit of one year tand the proceeds arising be equally divided share and share alike between all my children. Fifthly, I nominate David Gillespie and Isaac N Bills Executors of this my last will and testament.
