Athens, Tennessee Daily-Post Athenian  Newspaper
Mrs. Maggie Simpson Foster, 85, of Atlanta Ga. died in an Athens Hospital
Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Foster was a native of McMinn County and the daughter of the late Lewis
Simpson and Mary Jane Wattenbarger Simpson, a member of the Sewee Church of God.

For the past 10 years Mrs. Foster had been living with her daughter, Miss Idella
E. Foster in Atlanta, Ga.

Other survivors beside her daughter are two sons, Herman (Shorty) Foster, of
Greenwood, S. C. and Tommy Foster of Athens, 7 grandchildren and several great
grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Emma Jorden of Decatur; Mrs. Eva R. Ringo of
Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Alpha Snyder of Niota.

Funeral services were held Church of God, with the Revs John Harris and Rev
Herbert Neff officiating. Internment was in the church cemetery.

Quisenberry and Laycock in charge of arrangements.
