Turn South on South Farmville Road, next to Guys Civic Center. Go one and one half miles, turn left on the field road. Follow it around and along the tree line, Cross a wooden bridge and follow the tree line around to a big Cedar tree which will be after a few Poplar trees. Stop before the Cedar and enter the woods there. The cemetery is located about fourty yards in. Syntha Lucretia - Wife of O.L. Josy Jane Dau of J.C. and R. Chambers July 10, 1826 - Oct 15, 1827 This marker is broken. Rebecca Chambers Wife of John Chambers April 3, 1799 - Death date is missing. John Chambers March 8, 1801 - Aug 29, 1853 Mary E Gipson Aug 19, 1858 - Nov 27, 1879 Dau of J.H. and M.C. Gipson John T Gipson April 8, 1854 - March 21, 1891 The following are enclosed in a wrought iron fence. There is a marker about 18" square and 66" tall with following information inscribed on it. John Meeks 1783 - March 4, 1876 Deacon of the Primitive Baptist Church for 75 years Elizabeth B Meeks - Wife of John Meeks 1796 - January 3, 1874 Member Primitive Baptist Church for 60 years Luvurna E Meeks - Wife of W.C. Meeks June 29, 1834 - November 5, 1865 Jennie Luvurnia Meeks January 8, 1889 - Died the same day There appears to be more graves in this cemetery but they are unmarked Otho P. Phillips Son of J. P. and Bell Born 12-5-1887 Died 6-11-1904 This is a single Stone and is located about 30 yards west of the other markers.
