SMITH 200 acres [Note: JOHN L. SMITH was married to MARTHA JANE HILL, who was the sister of Daniel Anderson Hill, who was married to Wiley's sister, Eliza Jane. Per notarized attachment to this deed, on 28 November 1887, WILEY and MARGARET BAUCUM were living in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas.] Warranty Deed with Joint Acknowledgment State of Tennessee, McNairy County. Know all men by these presents that I hereby transfer and convey to JOHN L. SMITH and his heirs and assigns forever for the consideration of two hundred and thirty dollars in hand paid by the said JOHN L. SMITH the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged a certain piece of land bounded as follows, lying and being in McNairy County, Tennessee: Beginning at a black oak, the NorthEast corner of Entry Number 1782 in the name of D. HILL [DANIEL ANDERSON HILL, who was married to ELIZA JANE BAUCUM, WILEY'S sister], runs South 142 poles to a post oak on the SouthEast corner of the same, then East 110 poles to an oak, then South 66 poles to a black jack, then East 106 poles to a stake and post oak pointers, then North 54 poles to a stake and post oak pointers, then West 78 poles to a black jack, then North 96 poles to a hickory at corner of R. B. YOUNG tract, then West 40 poles to a stake on the West line of YOUNG'S tract, then North 118 poles to a black oak and a corner of Entry Number 2064, then West 112 poles to the South line of 105 acres conveyed to J. J. PIGGOTT to his SouthWest corner, then South 62 poles to a stake and white oak pointers, then East 12 poles to the beginning. These calls are thought to be correct, but are taken from an old grant and we only convey such title as I am seized of, containing 200 acres more or less. To have and to hold the above described premises together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said JOHN L. SMITH, his heirs and assigns forever and do hereby bind my self, heirs, and executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said JOHN L.
