MORLEY DEED, 96 acres We JOHN D. CASE and MARY CASE have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to GEORGE W. MORLEY and his heirs forever for the consideration of four hundred dollars to me in hand paid tract of land in McNairy County, State of Tennessee. Beginning at post oak and 2 black jack pointers, the most northern NorthWest corner of Entry 2809 in the name of A. [AARON] H. CASE, running East 130 poles to a stake and 2 post oak pointers, then South 117 poles, thence West 130 poles to a stake and 2 black jack pointers, then North 117 poles to the beginning, Containing 95 [sic] acres more or less and the same land for which a title from the chancery court of McNairy County was decreed to us on the 12th day of Decmber 1857. To have and to hold the same to the said GEORGE W. MORLEY that we are lawfully seized of said land having a good right to convey it and the same is unencumbered. We do further covenant and bind ourselves, heirs, and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the said land and every part thereof of all persons whatever this 13th day of January 1872.
