     50 acres



     JAMES SURRATT, by virtue of Register with Tennessee   No.

     1100 for 25 acres, enters the same in the 9th district in

     the 4th Range and fourth Section, beginning five poles

     north of the South East corner of Entry No. 1267 for 42

     acres in the name of WILLIAM L. PETTY, then East 89 poles

     and North for complement. June 4th 1824
