This case file was JOHN LANE- 1826. This was a large file involving Estate settlement and other disagreements within the Lane family, including division of land. Mentions several family members, and includes Tidence Lane, son of John Lane, who resides in Maury Co, TN as a material witness. Apparently there was also a Tidence Lane residing in NC, involved in this 1826 file, and who also will be Administrator for Samuel Redfern's estate in Randolph Co in 1836 (probably died in McNairy Co).
