K. WALSH to WILEY BAUCUM 100 acres Know all men by these presents that I, W. K. WALSH of the County of Madison, State of Tennessee, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have this day bargained, sold, aliened, and conveyed to WILEY BAUCUM of the County of Mcnairy, State of Tennessee, the following described land, situated, lying and being in the 4th Range and 4th Section in the County of McNairy, State of Tennessee, bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at a hickory and 2 black oak pointers, the most Northern SouthEast corner of Entry Number 1702, runs thence North 14 poles to a stake on the last boundary of said Entry, then West 157 poles to a stake on the West line of Entry Number ---, then South 36 poles to a black jack and 3 black jack pointers, then West 90 poles to a black jack and 3 black oak pointers to a corner of the same, then South 94 poles to a black jack and black oak pointers, then most Southern SouthWest corner of the same, then East 5 poles to a stake, post oak and black jack pointers, then North 12 poles to a stake and post oak pointers, then East 88 poles to a black jack, then North 104 poles to a post oak, then East 102 poles to the beginning, containing 100 acres more or less and being the south part of said Entry Number 1702 and known as the FRANK VIORAS [VIRES] place. To have and to hold the same to the said WILEY BAUCUM, his heirs and assigns forever together with its appurtenances, estate, title, and interest thereto belonging. I hereby covenant and bind myself, my heirs and representatives to forever warrant and defend the title to said land and bargained premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever and that I am lawfully seized of said land and bargained premises [and] have a good right to sell and convey it and the same is unencumbered.
