 Independent Appeal , Selmer TN
Mr Houston Heath, age 87 years passed away at his home near Pebble Hill, on 

Thursday , July 26 at 8:00 P.M. He has been in poor health for several months, 

and in serious condition for more than a year. He had lived on the same farm 

for 33 years, where he engaged in farming until his health failed. Mrs. Rosa 

Arnett Heath passed away 29 years ago. He was the father of ten children- 3 

deceased. Those survived are Mrs. Bertha Kiddy, Mrs, Hattie Barnes, Miss 

Minnie Heath, Mrs. Loraine Miller and Aud Heath of Michie, Mr. Henry S. Heath, 

Columbus, Ga. ,Mr Rubel Heath, Waterford CA., one brother Mr Tom Heath, 

Stantonville TN. 20 grand children, and four great grand children.

Shackelford Funereal Directors of Selmer were in charge of arrangements. 

Funeral services were at Pebble Hill church and burial was in cemetery there.

Mr Heath observed his 87th birthday on July 8th.
