Tennessee McNairy County, Marriage  - G. M. Cooch and Julia Hawkins

MARRIAGE BOND



     Know all Men, That we,  - G. M. GOOCH  - and __________ of the County of

     McNairy, and State of Tennessee, are held and firmly bound unto the State

     of Tennessee, in the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to which

     payment, well and truly to be made, we bind our heirs, executors and

     administrators, and each and every one of us and them, both jointly and

     severally, firmly by these presents.



     The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That whereas. - G. M. Gooch

     -  hath prayed and obtained a License to marry, Julia Hawkins.  Now, if the

     said Hawkins, be an actual resident in the County aforesaid and there shall

     not hereafter appear any lawful cause why the said -  G. M. Gooch and Julia

     Hawkins, -  should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony as Husband and

     Wife, then this obligation to be void and of no effect; otherwise to remain

     in full force and virtue,

McNairy County



     To any Minister of the Gospel having the Care of Souls, and any Justice of

     the Peace of said County -- GREETING:



     You, or either of You, are hereby authorized to solemnize the RITES OF

     MATRIMONY between  - G. M. Gooch and Julia Hawkins  - he, the said Gooch,

     having given hand and security agreeable to the Act of General Assembly in

     such case made and provided.



     Given at the Clerk's Office of said County, this 12 day of Jany (spelled as

     is)  1885



   J. R. Adams - county Court Clerk.

  

     I SOLEMNIZED THE RITES OF MATRIMONY between the within named parties on
