BEARD, Deceased I, JOHN A. BEARD SR., being of sound mind and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, have this day made and published this, my last will and testament. 1st. I have this day deeded to my two sons, W. F. BEARD and J. A. BEARD, their portions of my real estate. 2nd. I bequeath the balance of my real estate to my three daughters, N. [NANCY] E. SUTTON, MARGARET [F.] MOORE, and H. F. [FRANCES] NICHOLS, to be equally divided between them. Said real estate is a part of my home place, the A. J. HILL place, a part of the BEACHAM place, a part of the HURST land, and some lots and public square in Purdy. 3rd. I appoint W. F. and R. F. BEARD executors of this my last will and testament. [Note: WILLIAM F. BEARD is the oldest son of JOHN A. BEARD SR. ROBERT FIELDING BEARD is his nephew and brother of MARGARET E. BEARD BAUCUM, wife of WILEY BAUCUM.] This February 23, 1900. J. A. H. DEVAULT and W. A. SUTTON, who testified as the the genuineness of same and [the] court being of the opinion it is genuine. It is therefore ordered that the same be set up in common form of law. It is further ordered that W. F. BEARD be qualified as executor upon his giving bond in the sum of $300.
