First- I bequeath my spirit to god who gave it & my boddy to the earth out of which it came to be intered with decency I do not want what is termed a funeral at surmon preached at my Interment or afterwards as I find no warrant for the custom in the Scriptures sorrowing for the dead as enjoined friends can tell when without the preachers eulogies. Second-That all my just debts be paid for which there is means sufficient without going to trouble of administering on the little effects in my possession. Third- I further will & bequeath to beloved wife Margaret the improvements on a plantation laying on Water Branch to have & to hold to rent or lease or sell as she may see proper to gather with the rent of the place as it may accrue anually The Improvements as the labour of our hands jointly and I want her to have the full benefit of all . I do hereby will & bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret the tract of Land on which we now reside at Stantonville provided she pays the remainder due on the land one hundred & ten Dollars to J. S. Winningham she has or will have the means when it is due. Fifth- Be it further known that I hereby make my beloved wife Margaret my agent that she may transact business to sell the Land on which she resides if she sees proper and fully empower her to make deed of conveyance. Sixth- That my beloved wife Margaret take all my personal property -the same to have and to hold and use at her descretion I hereby affix my Hands & Seals. Jno. P. Fulwood Test Thos R. Beck J.K.
