McNairy County Tenn
March 23rd 1872

I E.J. Hicks of said County and State aforesaid considering the mutability of
things do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all
former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First I hereby constitute and appoint my Step Son J.W. Hicks to be my sole
Executor of this my last Will directing my said Executor to pay my just debts
and funeral expenses and the Legacies hereinafter given out of my Estate. 
Secondly After the payment of my said debts and funeral expenses I give to my
Step Daughter Lucinda Davidson one hundred dollars to be paid to her out of the
money due me by J.W. Hicks at my decease.
Thirdly I give to my said Executor the balance of my Estate in the House and out
of doors if any there be after my decease . I hereby make my mark which is to be
assussured as my genuine Signature.

Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Thos. Clayton
