Parrish this day being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby devise make and bequeath this my last Will and Testament of my effects of value feeling as I do that I know best how to dispose of such properties, that I may be possessed of better than any other, and to be just to the deserving, since I realize that at my present age I cannot live long and I want to meet the demands of life after my life has ended to accomplish the greatest good and this alone I am endeavoring to do. Article 1- First, after my death I will and desire that all debts I may die owing be paid together with all funeral expenses I desire that my body be burried according to the regions rights of my country but not to be extravagant but neatly and cleanly but not expensive beyond my means, but to be directed by beloved wife, Mary A. Parrish, and such a monument be placed at my grave to mark my last resting place. This to be selected by her. Article 2- After the provisions are complied with in Article 1, then I will and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mary A. Parrish, all personal properties and all real estate that I may die possessed of, she to use during her natural life as she may see fit, but that she shall not have the right to deed and convey any real estate that is by me left, except she becomes in need to make her comfortable and not until all personal properties have been exhausted and in the event she should become helpless and need the proceeds of any and all real estate in which case she shall have the right hereby delegated her, to sell deed and convey this real estate, to make her comfortable. Then and only then shall she sell deed and convey same. I do this because she has been faithfull to me at all times during our married life to make me comfortable and happy, and because of in after life, her needs demand that she shall have the full use of all of both personal and real estate properties. Article 3- After the death of my wife Mary A. Parrish and not until then, I will will and bequeath all that may be left of such real estate and other properties, that was owned and left by me, to my beloved daughter Pearl McConnell. She to have everything of which may be left of my effects and not used by my wife Mary A. Parrish, but she shall not bother or enterfere with anything by me left so long as my wife, Mary A. Parrish, shall live, but the last and residue of all left at her death to go to my daughter Pearl McConnell of whatever kind it may consist. Article 4-Owing to the fact that I have helped in cash and real estate my sons, William F. Parrish, and R. L. Parrish I feel that have already shared fully, all that would have reverted to them and their heirs, hence I will and desire that their heirs have nothing further, but that all and the residue after the death of my wife go to Pearl McConnell and that they receive nothing further. Article 5- I hereby revoke all former wills by me made this being my last will and make my beloved wife Mary A. Parrish my executor to this my last will and ask the honorable County Court of McNairy County to give my wife Mary A. Parrish letters of Administration without bond believing as I do that she is most thoroughly honest and will do the right wholly . This August 3rd, 1927 W.E.
