In the Ten Mile Community. Turn left and drive about 1½ tenth mile, turn rt. drive about 1 ½ tenth mile to small spring crossing, Small spring joins larger spring. Go upstream on big spring to barn near head of spring. Facing woods behind barn, there is a dirt road going into woods behind and to left of barn. Beginning at the edge of woods, walk this road for about 200 long steps, go to right and through a gap in barbed wire fence. From gap walk 62 long steps to KEYLON tombstone, on your right, in edge of woods.In 1999, a pond is at foot of hill below cemetery. Sarah Keylon w/o J. H. Keylon married 8/12/1865 (No evidence of an engraved tomstone for Sarah Keylon, though there are several unmarked tombstones of the fieldstone variety here. The only indication Sarah is buried here is her listing in Knight's cemetery in Meigs Co. , TN Cemeteries.) Sarah is actually buried at Luminary Methodist Church in Ten Mile, Roane Co. , TN. D 2nd TN Infantry Knight, Ethard H., private, Company D; age 25; enrolled at Camp Dick Robinson, KY., 1 SEP 1861; mustered in at Camp Wildcat, KY., 24 OCT 1861; discharged by order of General Buell at Cumberland Gap, 30 Jun, 1862; details of discharge not stated. (Jherdin???) Knight b. ? - d. Aug. 8, 1869 (small grave of infant) J. J. Knight Co. D 2nd TN Infantry KNIGHT, JOHN: private, Company F; age 30; enrolled and mustered in at Somerset, KY., 11 NOV 1861; captured at Rogersville, 6 NOV 1863; confined at Richmond, 13 NOV 1863; confined at Andersonville, 18 FEB 1864; admitted to hospital at Andersonville with "scorbutus", 11 SEP 1864; paroled at Vicksburg, MS., about 21 APR 1865, perished in the disaster of the steamboat Sultana, 27 APR 1865; Casualty Sheet: "the steamer 'Sultana' was lost on the Mississippi River, about 9 miles above Memphis, TN., about 2 a.m. on 27 APR 1865 when the boiler exploded.'"
