You are hereby commanded to summons Edward L. Van to appear before me or some other justice of said county to answer the complaint of John Griffith & Henry Marshall administrators of Wm Griffith decd in a plea of debt due by note under a warrant. State of Tennessee Monroe County To any lawful officer of said county ________ _______ John Griffith and Henry Marshall administrators of William Griffith decd on the 18th day of Oct 1852 before me William Williams one of the acting justices of the peace in and for said county ______ a judgment against Edward Vann for the sum of three dollars and seventy give cents together with the further sum of eighty five cents for costs which said judgment by you can therefore hereby commanded that of the goods and chattels lands _____ of the said Vann if to be found you _____ to be _____ the aforesaid sum of money with _______ interest in said judgment and also _______ and _______ in this execution herein _________ not and have you the said money ready to render to the plaintiffs as the law directs.
