The Samuel P. Wright Bible has the following name stamped on the inside front cover, "Sam. P. Wright". On the back cover is written in pencil: Barcus: Catharine- April 17, 1887 Pascal- May 17, 1889 John-March 31, 1891 Sam W.-July 9, 1893 Ann H.-Aug. 8, 1897 Joe Moore-Jan. 22, 1882. I found the following information in his memorial/obituary in the November 1911 Journal of the Central Texas Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Rev. Samuel Paschal Wright was born in Montgomery County, Tennessee on February 1, 1838 and died in Pomona, California on March 6, 1911. He received his education at Cumberland University. Samuel P. He was also a curator of Southwestern University, and a delegate to the General Conference of the Methodist Church. On February 1, 1860, he married Mary Wyatt Harris (1838-1915). They had nine children. Their portraits may be found at the Earle-Napier-Kinnard house museum in Waco, Texas.
