                        MARABLE CEMETERY

Take highway 149 91/2 miles. Turn left on Tarsus Road. Go 11/4 miles 
to McFall Road, turn right, go about 1/2 mile to cemetery. Cemetery 
is on the right in the field by the road with a concrete wall topped 
by a wrought iron fence.

An affectionate wife devoted mother lived the life of a Christian and died the death 

of the righteous. And with her almost expiring breath she exclaimed:

On Jesus breast I lean my head and breath my life out there.

MARABLE Dr. John H. who was born in Brunswick County, Virginia 

Nov.18TH 1780 He was united in marriage on the 17TH July 1808 to

Ann J. Watson and departed this life April 1ST 1811

(This cemetery has been abandoned. Some of the bodies have been removed from the above -ground tombs.

It is very overgrown with vines and briars. The monuments are still there)
