In the name of God. I, Thomas Weakley of the county of Montgomery, State of Tennessee being of sound and disposing mind do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made. …my daughter Sally MEYORS…my daughter Mary Weakley…when said daughter comes of age or married…my son Samuel Weakley…my son Thomas Weakley…my son John Weakley…my son James Weakley…my son David Weakley…when arrives at full age…my granddaughter Nancy BAYLESS WHITLEDGE(?) and daughters Fanny (?)…Betsy WHITTEDGE when she arrives at full age…unto the children of my deceased son William Weakley… unto my wife Prudence… appoint my two sons Samuel Weakley and Thomas Weakley executors of this my last will and testament…signed 8th day of April 1830. This is to certify that I, Samuel Weakly…executor of the estate of Thomas Weakly, deceased in conformity to the will do report to the Court that I have delivered unto Mary Weakley one negro woman named SARAH, one negro boy named ABRAHAM…I have delivered unto Thomas J. Weakley one negro woman named SILVY (?) & NICY. I have delivered unto John C. Weakly one negro woman named ALICE & HENRY (?). I have delivered unto James Weakley one negro woman named ?? Page 201. I have delivered unto David Weakly one negro man named JACK & one girl named NANCY…I have received one negro man named MOSES & one girl named MALINDA. I have delivered unto Prudence Weakley, JESSEE & GEORGE, ABSOLUM, RACHEL…I have delivered unto Prudence Weakly all the beds and furniture, all the household and kitchen furniture, also all the stock of horses, cattle, sheep, hogs and likewise all the crop in Store, all the farming tools & utensils. I have hired the negro woman (name?) belonging the the heirs of William Weakley dec'd until the 1st day of January next for $17.81 1/4. The estate is found to be indebted $120 which the heirs of said estate have bound themselves to pay the same. I do hereby certify the above return is correct.
