Deed from J.E. Finch and wife to Lizzie Lancaster, their daughter, 50 acres that had been the dowry of Mrs. N.N. Johnson, widow of J.F. Johnson. Filed for record this 21st day of Nov, A.D. 1912 at 12 oclock P.M. and noted in Note Book No 7, page 163. Registered Nov 22nd 1912. For and in consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars as a gift or an equal division of my property to our daughter Lizzie Lancaster (Finch), J.E. Finch and wife E.J. Finch do hereby sell or make over to our daughter Lizzie & her husband S.A. Lancaster the hereafter described parcel of land and the same shall be controlled by us J.E. & E.J. Finch during our life and at our death the same shall go to the above mentioned Lizzie Lancaster & her husband S.A. Lancaster and it be understood that we J.E. Finch and wife E.J. Finch shall have full possession of said land and control all timber and buildings on said land during our life time. And we have bargained and sold, and have by these presents do transfer and convey unto the said Lizy Lancaster & S.A. Lancaster their heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land in Obion County, State of Tennessee, as follows: The same being the dowry of Mrs. N.N. Johnson the widow of J.F. Johnson and bounded on the South by T.P. Finch on East by J.E. Finch on North by C.A. James & McBride on the West by T.P. Finch containing fifty acres more or less. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances estate title and interest thereto belonging to the said Lizy Lancaster & S.A. Lancaster their heirs and assigns forever, and we J.E. Finch & E.J. Finch do covenant with the said Lizy Lancaster & S.A. Lancaster that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said land in fee simple, have a good right to convey it, and the same in unincumbered. And we do further covenant and bind our heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land to the said Lizy Lancaster & S.A.
