Wedington Last Will and Testament I E.B. Wedington being of sound mind but feble health do make and ordain this my last will and testament Revoking all others heretofore made by me. In the first place I give unto my wife Margaret Wedington One Hundred Dollars in cash also the annual interest on fifteen hundred dollars and the house hold and kitchen furniture the following named negros to wit Wesley, Sharlott and her three children, and Ellen. I want my wife Margaret to keep and have the use and benefit of their labor during the present war which is now prevailing between the North and the South. Thirdly I bequeath unto my beloved son Rufus A. Wedington One Thousand Dollars to be paid over to him by my Executor twelve Months after peace is made. Also I want my executors to sell my tract of land in Gibson County Tennessee to the best advantage and divide the proceeds equally between my children. Also if there should be any money on hand after setting apart fifteen hundred dollars to my wife for her use divided equally between my children. I also constitute and appoint John E. Evans and Wm. Wedington's Last Will & Testament This day a paper writing perporting to be the last will and Testament of E.B. Wedington Dec'd. was produced in open court there upon came John H. Bates one of the subscribing witnesses to said will the other subscribing witness being dead the signature of the other subscribing witness J.A. Evans proved By the oaths of John H. Batete and G.F. Isbell. John H. Bates one of the subscribing witnesses to said will came into open court and after being duly sworn according to law deposed and said that him and J.A. Evans subscribed there names to said last will and testament at the request of the testator and in the presents of each other and that the said J.A. Evans is dead and the said E.B.
