The following are unknowns buried in unmarked graves in the Clay
Springs Cemetery located in southern Overton County. These are 
taken from death certificates and from research in the community 
with family of the deceased.

1.  Isaac "Ike" Dillon   1832-18 Dec 1914   (age 92)

2.  Artamishia Barnes Dillon  Aug 1828- ?  (dau. of John and Cely 
    Barnes, wife of Ike)

3.  Herman Dickerson 23 Nov 1916-5 Sept 1917 (son of Porter and 
    Lola Lewis Dickerson)

4.  Miles Webb 13 Sept 1917-19 Sept 1917  (son of Marion and 
    Frances Davis Webb, Frances daughter of Dr. James Davis)

5.  Tennessee Dickerson 1859-21 Jan 1920  (dau. of Uriah and 
    Cintha Roark Thrasher)

6.  Averett Deloy Hammons 14 April 1921-3 Jan 1922 (son of Joseph 
    Erastus and Ella Mae Stockton Hammons, Ella Mae daughter of 
    Bethel Stockton)

7.  Millie E. Talley Gibbons 1857-1881-82 (dau. of Beverley and 
    Rachel Warden Talley, 1st wife of Samuel  Edmond Gibbons)

8.  Baby Gibbons (buried in arms of mother, Millie Talley 
    Gibbons)

9.  Baby Gibbons born and died 1880 (age 6 months)

10.  Arminty Chesney  (wife of William K. Chesney)

11.  Edmond Gibbons 

12.  Margaret "Peggy" Mason Gibbons   (wife of Edmond Gibbons)

13.  Epps Gibbons   1842-died at home of a fever, 17 Feb 1862

14.  Eleanor Green Langford  12 March 1845-15 Oct 1922 (unmarked 
     grave on right side of Barney Langford, Sr.

15.  Mary Jane Dillon Webb  25 Dec 1833-31 Jan 1916   (daughter
     of Samuel and Frances Poteet Dillon, wife of John Lea Webb)

16.  John Lea Webb   ?  - possibly 1864   (illigitimate son of 
     Mary Webb and John Lea)
 
17.  Sarah Jane Breeding  b&d  1874  (infant of William Jefferson 
     and Sarah Jane Gibbons Breeding)

18.  ? Moore   (1st wife of Wilmoth Moore)

19.  Samuel Wiley Langford   1858-1894

20.  Olly Bell Langford  15 May 1884-15 March 1894

21.  Angeline Williams Langford   1865-22 June 1909

22.  D. A. Langford  2 March 1856-5 June 1876

It is also possible that the following are also buried in Clay Springs

James Moore   1804-1869

Annie Phillips Moore   1812-             (daughter of Jessee 
Phillips, wife of James Moore)

Dicey Dillon Gibbons    1824-1853    (daughter of Samuel and 
Frances Poteet Dillon, 1st wife of James Gibbons)

There are also 6 graves in a straight row just over the hill from 
main cemetery, all marked with plain, unmarked sandstone. These
are supposedly soldiers graves from Civil War, one ____Peek.
